Placing an order

How do I know what to order?
For every programme and course year we created, in consultation with the academic institution, a list of the items you need. When you select your programme and year in the order form, you will automatically see the products the school advises you to order.

I have placed an order but have not (yet) received a confirmation e-mail.
Unfortunately, our confirmation e-mail is sometimes placed in the 'junk' folder (spam box). If you cannot locate our confirmation e-mail in there as well, please
contact us. We will then send you the confirmation again.

I have lost my confirmation e-mail. How can I view my order?
We would be happy to send you another confirmation e-mail. Please contact us through
this form. It is also possible to log in with your Hotmail, Gmail or school account. To do so please go to the
log-in page.
Delivery

What are the delivery times for your products?
The delivery times can be found on the status page. You will receive a link to the status page in the e-mail you are sent directly after payment. In the summer, study materials for the new course year can be ordered.
We deliver sets of textbooks almost daily. In the summer, many textbooks are still being reprinted. You will receive any subsequent deliveries when the publisher makes the book available.
The readers are (partly) rewritten by teachers during the summer. Because of this, we can only deliver the readers right before the beginning of the course year. That is why they will be delivered later on if necessary.

My order was not delivered correctly, now what?
If you received products you did not order, you are obliged, according to our general terms and conditions, to inform us and send them to: Postbus 19, 3214 ZG, Zuidland. Please include a copy of the packing note. Boeken Bijdehand will cover the costs for the return. These costs can be claimed by contacting us through the
contact form. Please state the order number and the amount of the costs for the return.

I have not received everything yet. When will I receive the rest?
You can view the status of your order at the status page. You have received an e-mail with a link to the status page with your invoice. If you wish to receive this link again, we advise you to contact us through the
contact form. Please state the order number.

Can I pick up my delivery?
No, that is not a possibility. All orders are delivered at your home.
Return and/or cancel

I would like to return (part of) an order to you. How does this work?
After you have received the ordered physical products, you have at least thirty days to cancel the order without stating your reasons. During this period, we expect you to handle the products and their packaging carefully. You should only unwrap or use the products to such an extent that is necessary to judge if you wish to keep the products.
If you wish to use your right of withdrawal, we expect you to return the delivered goods in their original condition and packaging to: Postbus 19, 3214 ZG, Zuidland. Please enclose a copy of the packing note. In this case, the consumer is responsible for the costs of the return. After Boeken Bijdehand has correctly received the returned goods, they will pay back any cancelled goods within thirty days.

Unfortunately we cannot take back digital products. This also applies to books bought for the Bookshelf platform.

I want to cancel an order (which has not been delivered yet), how does this work?
If you wish to cancel an order and you have not paid yet, you can do so via a link at the bottom of the status page. If you have already paid, you can cancel the order by contacting us through the
contact form. Please state the order number. If you have already paid for the order, Boeken Bijdehand shall return the money to your account within thirty days.
